Carbon County—Carbon County Visitors’ Council proudly relaunches the Carbon County WY – Visitor Journey A2D Learning Center. CCVC has partnered with Visitor Engagement Academy to produce a training tool.
“This summer we have seen that travel and tourism is resilient and has returned to Carbon County.” said Leslie Jefferson, CEO, CCVC. “With the Summer Season coming to an end, we are relaunching our Visitor Journey A2D (Arrival to Departure). The course is 100% free to residents of Carbon County.”
The Carbon County WY – Visitor Journey A2D is a combination of online learning along with a live class that ties the training together. The time required to complete the course is roughly two (2) hours of online learning, broken into 15-20 minute segments, and a 60 to 75-minute live class.“
The Visitor Journey A2D (Arrival to Departure) program teaches us that not just lodging partners and/or hospitality partners have interaction with visitors, but all Carbon County residents have a chance of a visitor encounter," Jefferson said. “Our goal is to enable the public to help visitors have the best experience possible in Carbon County. The course covers how to connect and engage visitors, provide great customer service, visitor information resources and where to find them, and how to provide more than expected with insider information.”
To thank those individuals who have taken or will take and complete the entire course, a drawing for one $150.00 gift certificate will be held on Wednesday, September 15th, 2021. To qualify for the drawing, register & complete the online segments and attend the live class (in person or remotely).
